Marketing Manager

Great Performances, a premier hospitality and events company, is looking for a creative, tech-savvy and experienced Digital Content Manager. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the successful candidate will be a self-starter who can take the lead in our digital marketing and content creation efforts and support the needs of the marketing department to build brand equity and develop client/partner relationships.


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in marketing, communications or related field

  • Strong digital marketing skills: 3-6 years demonstrated experience content creation, social media, blogging, email marketing and digital marketing.

  • Demonstrated experience writing and editing

  • Highly creative and visual: you have an eye for design and photography and possess the necessary technical skills to edit and work with digital files

  • Strong communicator and collaborator: you like people can easily engage our culinary and events teams, venues and partners to develop content and cross-market brands and initiatives

  • Highly organized and detail oriented

  • Food and event enthusiast – you are interested in and knowledgeable about events and food

  • Experienced in marketing technologies – you must be proficient and comfortable working with social media and content management tools, analytics tools, email marketing services, CMS, website builders, Microsoft, Adobe Creative and more

  • Ready to work in a fast-paced environment with a lean marketing team

  • Brand builder – you have an innate ability to understand a brand and customer and can quickly express our brand, voice, and esthetic through the content you produce


Social Media Marketing

  • Demonstrated experience, enthusiasm and clear vision for social media marketing. You will own our social media from start to finish.

  • Educated and on top of social media trends and familiar with social media tools.

  • Can confidently create consistent and engaging content through video, photo and copy throughout all social media channels.

  • Confidently recommend strategy and maintain yearly content calendar.

  • Analytically savvy and able to interpret patterns and recommend solutions.

  • Monitor social media activity and engage with clients and partners. Seek out partnerships with influencers.

  • You have the ability to attend events for social media coverage.


Email Marketing

  • Demonstrated experience with email marketing and/or editorial.

  • You will be the editor of our monthly newsletter. Create an editorial calendar for the year and develop multiple newsletter stories each month. Collaborate with our team to create and edit content.

  • Additionally, publish email newsletters for client mailings, marketing events, and café and venue marketing.

  • Maintain the contact database and be knowledgeable in subscriber acquisition and retention.

Website & Online Content Management

  • Actively update the website with new images, blog content, café and venue information, SEO tags.

  • Comfortable working within content management systems.

  • Maintain omni-channel online brand presence.


Asset & Data Management

  • Maintain database of venues, backend management and data entry of in-house Venue Search System

  • Maintain databases of digital and traditional marketing assets to include, but not limited to:  photography, marketing and sales collateral, recipes, menus, events, gifts, sponsorship and donations.
